Investing in the Future: Conti Interns Add Value
26, Aug, 2013
After a summer of new experiences and hard work, Conti’s interns head back to their respective homes and universities in September.
Conti employed 15 interns this summer, all of whom were exposed to a wide variety of work during their 3 months at Conti. Positions ranged from technology support to field operations on project to work in Conti’s fabrication shop. Some interns worked on solar projects in the eastern United States, others worked on various teams in Conti’s headquarters in Edison, New Jersey, and two worked on Conti’s Israel facility construction project.
Six interns returned to Conti for a second or third year, and two may be joining Conti full-time after they complete their undergraduate degrees. College students have come from diverse universities across the United States, such as Villanova, Rutgers, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Colorado State University and Oregon State University.
Conti supports college students across the United States to pursue careers in construction thereby helping to provide a diverse and vigorous workforce for the future of the industry.
